One of the best things about living in Florida is that fall/winter is the BEST time for outdoor photos. The humidity is low and it still warm. My husband just so happens to work with Celine’s mom. So when Dr. Johnson asked if I’d be willing to grab a few shots for her daughter’s quinceanera, I was more than happy to oblige! Now, back when I was turning 15, I was awkward and had absolutely zero clue about what was fashionable. I mean, I think I still owned Mudd jeans for crying out loud. (Am I showing my age, Mudd jeans?) And I assumed there would be a GRAND ball gown… because isn’t that what quinceanera’s entail?
Y’all. I. Was. Wrong. When Clay and I met Celine and her mother at South Inlet Park in Boca Raton, I was BLOWN AWAY. She is literally breathtaking. And just as amazingly sweet and beautiful on the inside. Celine sparkled in front of the camera and made my job a breeze. After we grabbed a few shots under the thick mangrove trees, we ventured out to the beach. And when I say these are some of my very FAVORITE photographs I’ve ever taken, I’m not lying. The wind. The surf. The sunset. It was all perfection.
And that dress… not anything what I thought it would be, but the perfect choice for the occasion. Celine chose an ivory beaded gown that was just stunning. Seriously, I couldn’t have dreamt a more dreamy session for this sweet girl’s quinceanera.
The best photoshoot ever!! Thank you so much
