Oh, man, y’all… this had to be one of my favorite couple sessions in the history of the world… because it turned into an engagement session!

Sweet Erin found me through Instagram and reached out to me. She’s from Connecticut, but she and her boyfriend were going on a cruise and she wanted to grab some beach pictures of the two of them while they were in Florida. We settled on a date and time and that was that. Erin and Anthony’s couple session was scheduled. Now, you see, Erin’s oh so sweet and bubbly… and completely unexpecting.

Just a little after confirming all the little details with Erin, I received a phone call from a Connecticut number I did not know.  Turns out it was Erin’s mom, Kim. She and Anthony had a few other plans for this little vacation couple’s session. Anthony wasn’t planning on taking his girlfriend on a cruise. He wanted to take his fiancé on vacation. Y’all… I was so giddy with excitement! I love this sort of thing. And I love being part of a good sneaky plan.

We met at South Inlet Park in Boca Raton on the most perfect day! We started off with a few shots under the mangrove trees on the boardwalk and then moved onto the beach. We’d planned that I’d grab a few shots of Erin by herself while Anthony got into position behind her. When she turned around, he was ready. And obviously she said YES! We finished the session out on the jetty. Erin, of course, FaceTimed her mom immediately to show her the ring… so I low key included her in the session, too! (You can catch those at the end)
